Builtrite™ Solid Waste Tamping Grapples are specifically designed to load, distribute, sort and tamp municipal solid waste and construction/demolition debris in truck trailers or dumpsters, maximizing and evenly distributing loads. Commonly found on Builtrite Models 1300-SE, 135-SE-VFD, 2100-SE and 2150-SE-VFD, Stationary Electric Material Handlers, along with Rubber Tired Excavators, these grapples have proven themselves in a very challenging application.
This design features a single cylinder, transverse mounted cylinder that is encased in the lower attachment head, keeping it out of harm’s way. The jaws are synchronized, utilizing a connecting link, which makes precise picking and placement possible.
